1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ubeen Geared ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Ubeen Studios LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

Ubeen Geared is a precision gear engineering calculator that provides tools for designing involute spur, helical, bevel, and worm gears. The App includes real-time gear visualization, dimensional calculations, and cloud-based data storage for syncing designs across devices.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use this service. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

4. Accounts

The App uses Google Sign-In for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies. Subscription renewals are automatic unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's servers or systems
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or its content

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is the property of Ubeen Studios LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the gear designs and data you create within the App.

8. Engineering Disclaimer

The App is provided as a design and calculation tool for reference purposes. Gear calculations and visualizations are based on standard involute gear geometry formulas and should not be used as the sole basis for manufacturing or safety-critical decisions. Users are responsible for independently verifying all calculations and consulting qualified engineers for production applications.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of calculations, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ubeen Studios LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
