- 19 Old Tainan District Court (原臺南地方法院), No. 307, Section 1, Fuqian Road, West Central District, ☏ +886 6 214 7173. 09:00-17:00. The former district courthouse is now used as a museum of legal matters and history for Southern Taiwan. The museum traces the history of Taiwan's legal system since the period of Japanese colonisation. Few of the displays are in English, but the museum and the building are worth a stroll around regardless. (updated Nov 2019)
